I went into our local Lego store while I was waiting on something at the mall the other day. The guy there asked me, “Can I help you with something?” and I said, “Yeah, I might get something for my daughter…” He pointed to the back corner of the store and said “Oh, we just got some new sets in for girls.”
Apparently girls aren’t allowed to play with regular Lego anymore, because “Lego For Girls” is in special purple boxes, and the figures all have special hair, and instead of being houses, or cars, or spaceships, or boats, they are kitchens. Accessories include cakes, plates, glasses, and milk. I’m surprised it didn’t come with lipstick and a hair dryer. Oh, wait, it does, it’s just in another set.
